Rescue: Six Dogs Arrive

Currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Brewster, Buddy is a six-year old Basset Hound. He looks forward to hugs and happy wrestling with his new loving family.

This is Stormy, a four-year old Boston Terrier. He is looking for an experienced new home who can be firm and establish some rules for him. He likes to think certain things are his possessions, but I assured him the stuffed lobster was mine.

Charlie is a one-year old Pit Bull who has been living at the Animal Farm Foundation. While at the farm, Charlie took on quite the reputation for his unending love and friendliness. He loves people, loves attention, loves to play with other dogs and kids, and even loved learning new tricks in obedience class at the Farm. You can now meet him at the Animal Rescue League of Brewster.

This little bundle of white fluff is Snuggles, a nine-year old mix. She can be a bit timid around new people and loud noises (but who isn’t?), but generally comes from a pleasant life of chew toys, laying in the grass and playing with dog friends and children.

When I first met this young husky, Blue, I thought he was Nanook who I had met a couple of weeks earlier. What gorgeous “blue” eyes! He didn’t sit quite as still, but he has a lot more puppy traits still under that cozy fur.

And last but not least is Horatio! I didn’t grab much information on this handsome mix because he was pending adoption, but in case it falls through I wanted to share an image of the dog who christened me as a dog photographer – he peed on me!
