Okay, now this guy is just a little husky commercial waiting to happen. Being a husky-mix owner myself and learning so much about this incredible breed, I was happy to walk in to the Animal Rescue League of Brewster, MA this past Friday and be greeted by Nanook! He’s so full of love and affection that I’m sure he’ll be adopted quickly. Can’t you just see it in his face?
Nanook is about five years old. He has a really proud and beautiful gait when he walks or runs, and he loves to explore while sticking close to his human pals. He has been known to rest his chin on anyone’s lap just to say hi.
And here is Loki! Loki is a four-year old American Staffordshire Terrier, and true to his written description, Loki likes to dart out the door when he can sneak a moment! We first met him when he came dashing – sans leash or human – past the gated paddock where I photograph the dogs. My lovely assistant that day, my mother, ran off after Loki in the woods with a bag of treats. Thankfully he came back, just in time for his portrait session!
Yes, he had a leash on inside the gated paddock, ha!
