Where my business began, and my soul remains, is pet photography. I can imagine no greater “job” than one where I am able to combine my passion for animals with a love for active New England life!
Cold Nose Photo was established in the spring of 2008. My work with dogs, cats, horses and even sheep over the past two years has been sweetly supplemented with volunteer work photographing the dogs of the Animal Rescue League of Boston (Boston, Brewster & Dedham). Stay tuned each fall for the next Dogs of Cape Cod calendar to benefit this incredible organization!
Pet sessions utilize natural light and a backdrop of dunes, conservation lands, barns, lakes, harbors, mountains and more to capture the fresh & authentic nature of our pets and rescue animals. I will come bearing wholesome treats and squeaky-toys to your home or favorite location. After a bit of play and belly-rubs, I’ll pick up the camera for what could be an hour or three.
Packages: Starting at $200, various session packages offer credit toward prints and even a custom designed display book for your home. Please feel free to ask about having additional pets and family members included in your session, as well as more than one location!
- “Favorite Spot” Most popular, this is a general session, lasting about two hours with your favorite pet in his or her favorite location – be it home, the beach, the dog park or other.
- “Coming Home” Whether you are bringing a new puppy, kitten or adopted pet home, the first year is an unforgettable adventure! This package includes three sessions within 12 months, each at locations of your choice, so you can capture your pet’s growth and personality as your bond forms.
- “Family Member” We all know our pet is 100% part of the family! If you’d like to have your children or other family involved, this is the package for you.
- “Whisker Wisdom” Senior and ailing pets will receive the utmost priority – and a little extra love and rubbing! – when it comes to cozying up for a Cold Nose Photo portrait session. This package includes an enhanced focus on your final presentation goal with your images.
- “Extended Journey” Pets currently residing at shelters and foster homes are always photographed at no charge. If you adopted your pet, even years ago, Cold Nose Photo sessions come with a 15% discount to show our appreciation.
Gift Certificates are available in any amount and will be customized just for you!
Beyond Print: Please refer to our Products page to learn about print products, modern gallery-wrapped canvas, or if you are looking to create cards, books or other keepsakes of your pet!
Inquiries from animal hospitals, doggy-daycares and veterinary clinics are also welcome. Photography services are free of charge to all shelters and rescue groups in New England.
