Last Sunday, I journeyed up to one of my absolute favorite areas of Boston – the South End – to photograph Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Fitz!
As with so many dogs, Fitz wasn’t entirely into the whole “sit, stay” thing for the camera. We explored his neighborhood and favorite park, chased the ball and other dog friends around, but the most we could get him to really chill out was in his mom and dad’s arms! And that’s just fine with me – I love when owners are part of the photo process!
It was such a beautiful fall morning in the city! Just a tiny bit of foliage starting, and a crisp breeze in the air. The doors were still open at the infamous Polka Dog Bakery, though, and of course we stopped in!
Fitz also got to sit on the Eames chair that’s normally off-limits to him… you could tell from his face that he was not at all sure what was going on with this photographic evidence!
Fitz, you are sitting pretty with those fantastic parents of yours and an excellent neighborhood for a dog to grow up! Thanks for sharing your Sunday morning with me!
