I am extreeeeeemely excited to share the news – I am now a freelance photographer with Cape Cod Life magazine!
I’m just pinching myself over and over right now, as I’m a die-hard Cape Codder who was born here, along with seven generations of my family before me. For as much as I’ve traveled and lived around the world, there will never be a place of such simple beauty and serenity in my life. We certainly have our rough spots too, but it’s so rewarding to see how the Cape spirit is improving through entrepreneurial artists, farmers and businesspeople who are really making a difference in our community.

I have, of course, always been sure to have a few issues of Cape Cod Life around our home for summer guests to browse and enjoy. It’s a beautiful, high-quality magazine, celebrating the people, places and activities of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Cape Cod Life also publishes Cape & Islands Home magazine.
As if simply joining their team wasn’t enough… I was immediately blessed with four of the most AWESOME photo assignments on the planet! Stay tuned as I visit Cape Cod Organic Farm, Cape Cod Beer, Local Hooker fishing rods, and the workshop of Muppet designer Ed Christie.
This opportunity came up through the wonderful ways our community and friends intertwine on Cape Cod (much the same way I started exploring event photography last fall), and I am so grateful for these people and the adventures they’re inspiring me to go after. I’m proud to say that I was my usual loud and chatty self one day this winter, and was lucky enough to cross paths with someone just as open and chatty. I can’t wait to get started, and I look forward to sharing it with you here!
